At the event, Jennifer Aniston's longtime friend Adam Sandler explains why she is everyone's best friend, "I can honestly say Jen is the best in so many ways and one of the most rocksteady humans I’ve ever met".

"I’ve only seen her angry maybe, like, two and a half times in the 40 years I’ve hung out with her. Jennifer is beautiful, everyone knows that. She makes us smile and laugh. And she has a warmth to her that is intoxicating. She is everyone’s best friend."

Aniston admitted being a woman in the industry comes with both advantages and challenges. She told Elle, "The best part about being a woman in Hollywood is that I’m a working woman in Hollywood, and that I get to continue doing what I love. I’ve worked really hard and I love what I do. And also that we get to create projects that are making a difference and bring in female voices—that’s a really wonderful thing that we get to do now that we’re allowed a seat at the table. Which, bringing up the lows: There was a period where we were not allowed at that table. It was thought, How adorable that you think you could be a producer or run a production company. It was a very male-dominated industry, and we still have a long way to go, but women in Hollywood make moves. We get shit done."

During an interview with Elle, Jennifer Aniston tells the moment when she felt like she belonged on Friends.

She said, "I would have to say my first day on the set of Friends. There was something in the air meeting every single cast member."

"We gelled instantly. Our chemistry was just palpable and there was jsut uh something that sort of surged through each of us that felt right and we thought, "Oh, this is what this feels like. This is magic".

She told Elle, "When I was 17 or 18, I was doing a Chekhov play at [Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and] Performing Arts and the audience was laughing. My acting teacher said to me, ‘I think you should explore comedy because you’re funny.’ And I remember at first being quite offended, like, ‘Well, I’m not funny, I’m an actress.’"

"At the time, I was focused on being a ‘serious’ actor. Because I would watch comedies and think,’Oh, that’s funny, that looks easy.’ It didn’t seem like hard work. But it is hard! It’s not easy."

After finishing her studies at a prestigious New York City high school, Aniston quickly shot to fame as Rachel Green on Friends.

Jennifer Aniston revealed to Elle magazine that ABC’s removal of her longtime friend Jimmy Kimmel from the air was a dangerous move.

Aniston explained the reason, "Unthinkable things are happening. It’s very dangerous and very unfortunate. But at the end of the day, we’re the viewers. We subscribe to these networks and streaming services, so it really comes down to the people and their voices. All those subscription cancellations spoke volumes."

Aniston is referring to reports that Kimmel’s suspension led to a spike in Disney+ and Hulu subscription cancellations by consumers angered by ABC’s decision. Research firm Antenna reports that in September 2025, Disney+ posted an average U.S. cancellation rate of 8%—twice the 4% recorded over the preceding two months—while Hulu’s cancellation rate hit 10%, also double its prior two-month average of 5%.

Jimmy Kimmel said this during his show on September 15, after Kirk’s suspected killer was arrested, "We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang trying to characterize this kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them."

He was suspended from the show but returned to air on September 23.
