Stephen Baldwin claims that he was fired because he was funnier than Jennifer Aniston. During his podcast appearance, he revealed he was first cast as Jennifer Aniston’s boyfriend in the 1998 film "The Object of My Affection".
He recalled that, after lunch on the second day of shooting, a producer came to his trailer to inform him that there was an issue.
The producer told him, "You can't be funnier than Jennifer," to which Baldwin replied, "Is this a joke? This is a comedy movie!".
The role later went to Mad About You star John Pankow.
