Los Angeles-based matchmaker Gina Hendrix thinks Jennifer Aniston could be making classic relationship mistakes.
Gina Hendrix told Fox News Digital, "I think one of the biggest mistakes is when a woman tries to kind of manage the guy".
"When a woman steps into this role, and it's always a great, successful, amazing woman, she thinks, ‘I did it for myself, I can do it for you too,’ and she tries to build the guy up."
Hendrix pointed out that the guy often "ends up with this great new life, but then he starts resenting her for the help. She ends up in a role that’s not attractive at all, and usually, everything just dies down from there."
She noted it requires an incredibly secure person to date a celebrity — sharing the spotlight while staying out of it is essential for the relationship to work.
Additional to that, she thinks it’s a good thing when celebrity spouses stay away from red carpets.
Mutual respect is the essential ingredient when a celebrity has raised their partner’s profile.
She added, "Find a man who already has a strong footing, strong boundaries and can kind of be your anchor, not your anchor to pull you down, but your anchor that holds everything in place".
