Matthew Perry once had a major crush on Jennifer Aniston. They have known each other through mutual friends for three years before Friends.

In Matthew's memoir, he wrote that later on, he asked her for a date but Aniston wants to be friends only.

Few years later, he was still attracted to her but  the feelings gone after Aniston started dating with Brad Pitt.

Matthew shared, "Now, a few years later, ironically, we were friends. Fortunately, even though I was still attracted to her and thought she was so great, that first day, we were able to sail right past the past and focus on the fact that we had both gotten the best job Hollywood had to offer."
