John Mayer is a talented singer but will he also talented in acting as well? ACcording to ET, he wants to follow footsteps of his girlfriend Jennifer Aniston in terms of working in television line.

CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler says they picked Mayer for the variety show because of his humor and love of television. "It's [John's] idea," Tassler says of the variety show. "He loved it. He's a really funny guy. He's very smart."
