Matthew Perry once had a major crush on Jennifer Aniston. They have known each other through mutual friends for three years before Friends.

In Matthew's memoir, he wrote that later on, he asked her for a date but Aniston wants to be friends only.

Few years later, he was still attracted to her but  the feelings gone after Aniston started dating with Brad Pitt.

Matthew shared, "Now, a few years later, ironically, we were friends. Fortunately, even though I was still attracted to her and thought she was so great, that first day, we were able to sail right past the past and focus on the fact that we had both gotten the best job Hollywood had to offer."

"In time we will say more, as and when we are able. For now, our thoughts and our love are with Matty’s family, his friends, and everyone who loved him around the world."

The statement was signed by Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, David Schwimmer and Matt LeBlanc.

Matthew Perry acted as Chandler Bing in Friends. He was found dead in a jacuzzi at his home. 

He was 54 years old.

Perry  said in an October 2022 interview with Diane Sawyer, "She was the one that reached out the most. You know, I'm really grateful to her for that".

Jennifer was also the first one who confronted him about his addiction during the filming Friends.

Matthew went rehab more than 15 times in the past.

He died last Saturday at the age of 54 years old in his jacuzzi at home.

This is a heartbreaking day, and we send our love to his family, his loved ones, and all of his devoted fans."

According to TMZ, there was no foul play involved and no drugs were found.

Matthew acted as Chandler in Friends. He battled with alcohol and drug addiction for years.

The wig was created by her hairstylist Chris McMillan.

Melissa A. Yonkey, Jen's hairstylist on the film told People, "The colour was very complimentary on her. She’s got wonderful warm skin. With that blonde hair, she’s very known as Jennifer Aniston and I think sometimes that takes away from watching the story".

"She added that she was scared about styling such famous hair, she said: "I was actually very, very concerned. She’s so well-known for her hair that I was waiting for a lot of backlash. But I haven't had it yet."
