One source said “Leigh vets prospective boyfriends, helps her practice feng shui on her home and even helps choose acting projects, hoping to pull Jen out of her current career slump."

“Leigh advised Jen to abandon her ‘just for show’ relationship with Gerard Butler, and Jen tells friends that she won’t make any life or work decisions without consulting Leigh first.

“She was the one who convinced Jen to break up with John Mayer and to get involved with the charity Friends of El Faro.”
