Jennifer Aniston asked for these household items, instead expensive gifts after success of Friends

During an appearance on new episode of Dax Shepard’s Armchair Expert podcast, Jennifer Aniston revealed that she asked for these household items, instead expensive gifts after success of Friends from NBC’s then-president, Warren Littlefield.

Aniston recalled, "I said, 'Will you please give me a washer and a dryer?' And he wrote that down on a napkin".

"I just kept hearing that all these actors were getting like cars and getting like these things once they got hired. And Friends had happened, and we were, I don’t know, at the upfronts for something, and I was like, 'Where’s my — what are all these actors getting these treats for shows and stuff?'".

"Treats! Actor treats".

"And [Littlefield] was like, ‘Well, what do you want?’ and I was like, ‘Really?’” Aniston recalled. She told him she needed a washer and dryer, and she later confirmed that he fulfilled his promise to provide them

Jennifer Aniston shares how she uses Vaseline in her daily life

Jennifer Aniston shares how she uses Vaseline in her daily life. She tells Bazaar UK, "I was in London in the late ‘90s, and this wonderful make-up artist took this little tube out; it was like Vaseline, and she started putting it on my eyelids".

"I was a little taken aback, because I didn’t understand why you’d put Vaseline on your eyelids, but it was a look. Anyway, she said, ‘You can put it all over your body. This is amazing. You will be addicted to this,’ and sure enough, she was right. Now I’ve found this version of it in a lip balm, so that comes with me everywhere."

Jennifer Aniston shared how she motivates herself to work out

Jennifer Aniston shared how she motivates herself to work out. She says that her trainer, Dani Coleman, helps her stay on track with her fitness goals, "She keeps me honest and getting stronger. I can do a 30-minute Pvolve workout and be drenched and have such incredible results without literally breaking my body."

"I used to think a workout meant you just got to sweat for an hour to 45 minutes, whether it's running around a room, doing aerobics or running on a treadmill — 45 minutes of cardio. Otherwise, it's useless. I'm just so grateful that's not true."

She finds working out with others more enjoyable than doing it solo, "I prefer a group workout so much more than a solo workout. I mean, I love my workouts with Dani so much, but when I have some girlfriends join in, we have so much fun, and we just inspire each other and keep each other motivated."

She also added, "I will say to myself, 'You can do anything for 20 minutes. If I'm not feeling motivated — if it's not about fatigue and it's not about feeling like, 'Ooh, that feels a little sore today' — and it's just about motivation, I just have to say, 'You can do anything for 20 minutes. You will feel so much better.'"

She also added another advice, "Just put your clothes on. Put your workout pants on. Sometimes those workout pants stay on, and I've not gone even close to the gym, but it's okay. It's one step closer to doing it. Then it's just like, oh, this is my cute look for the day."

Jennifer Aniston revealed that she was constantly sent to stand in the hallway when she was a young student. She tells why

Jennifer Aniston revealed that she was constantly sent to stand in the hallway when she was a young student. This is because she was bothering the other kids in class.

She shared, "I was doodling, I was writing little scenes, sketches we were gonna act out at recess, or I’d write a note to somebody. Then I’d get real good laughs, and I'd be like, ‘Awesome!’".

When she was in high school, she still struggled academically. She shared, "This could sound awful, but between grade nine and 10, we were given four books to read, and I was like, ‘I'm never gonna read these books, I've gotta go to another school,’".

"I was like, ‘Alright, so where are we going? Because that’s not gonna happen. I don't have any way to figure out a way around that. Can't go stand in the hallway around that.’"

She added: "That's part of my dyslexia too is [I would] be reading and I’d go, ‘Oh, I just read a whole page and I don't know what I read because I’m not comprehending anything.’ And then my mind would wander."

"It was late auditions, I don't know why, I can't honestly remember. I learned two monologues, I auditioned and then I came back and then next thing you know, I was accepted."

"I kind of just, I know what I know and I know what I don’t know. There was a period though where I was mortified to walk in a room or be at a party. I would just think, ‘I don't know how to carry on a conversation.’ "
