All the while we thought Brad Pitt is the one who demanded the divorce because he has found new partner but the truth has been revealed and it seems that Jennifer is the one who initiated the divorce.

According to a source, they were having marital problems, long before Brad fell in love with Angelina Jolie.

The source revealed “Jen was champing at the bit to divorce Brad long before they announced their separation in January 2005. When Brad revealed the depth of his relationship with Angelina, it was painful for Jen, but she was almost relieved.”

“After Jen lost the baby, she and Brad could never again agree on when they would have kids, and they continued to grow apart."

A source tells the New York Daily News, "She looked really happy. There was a definite glow to her. She couldn't stop smiling.

"Jennifer checked out a cute guy walking in. She looked him up and down twice! She flashed him a beaming smile but got pulled back into a conversation with her girlfriends.

"The girls talked for a bit about how elated Jennifer was to have free time again. Jennifer laughed out loud at that, as though it were an inside joke.

"She was having so much fun. John and their issues seemed like the last thing on her mind."

They were spotted looking very happy together at the Oscars but actually they split before the event. It was just an acting.

But then later, after chilling a bit, horrified Jen suddenly remembered a major date she’d forgotten in all the emotion. Tracking John down, she gasped: “Omigod! What about the Oscars! You’ll still go with me to the Oscars…won’t you?”

Luckily, the singer hadn’t blabbed about the breakup to anyone -and, knowing she’d hate solo-ing it down the red carpet under Angelina’s baleful glare - he gallantly told Jen, “Hey, I wouldn’t let you down. I’d be happy to escort you.”
