Research firm Antenna reports that in September 2025, Disney+ posted an average U.S. cancellation rate of 8%—twice the 4% recorded over the preceding two months—while Hulu’s cancellation rate hit 10%, also double its prior two-month average of 5%.

Jimmy Kimmel said this during his show on September 15, after Kirk’s suspected killer was arrested, "We hit some new lows over the weekend with the MAGA gang trying to characterize this kid who killed Charlie Kirk as anything other than one of them."
