Gayle King met Jennifer Aniston and John Mayer backstage at Sunday's Oscars. Mayer told her that he watch her as a local news anchor in their native Connecticut when he was growing up. King responded "It's always good when someone says they grew up watching you".
Aniston added "He said that to me too."
